There's a star named Pollux — the brightest in the Gemini constellation. Our little boutique takes its name from it, and its purpose too: to help every woman leave shining brighter than she came in. That idea has guided Pollux from the very beginning.
It began in July of 2000, when our founder Ivy set out on a simple mission: to bring amazing fashion to the women of Grand Junction. From a small space tucked in the back of a shop near the Avalon, she quickly grew Pollux into a true mecca of style — dressing women of every generation.
For years, this was my happy place. I'd wander in and always find the cutest, most unique pieces — and more than that, I found people who knew my name and my style. It was my version of Cheers. I never left without feeling confident in my new finds. Because I believe it, deep down: when you look good, you feel good, and you show up as your best self.
In June of 2024, my dream came true — I became the proud owner of my favorite little boutique. I'm a Grand Junction native, I love this town, and I've always believed there's no reason we can't have the cutest fashion right here at home.
This is a new era for Pollux — Sadye's era. I've gone back to the heart of what Ivy built — a style for every generation, and a place where we know you by name — and I'm pouring everything I have into it: bringing in fresh brands I love, curating every rack, and rebuilding Pollux into the boutique I always dreamed it could be. Along the way I've added gifts, crystals, books, candles, and more little things to discover.
Today, Pollux is run by a team of stylists who genuinely love helping you find your new favorite find.
Because at the end of the day, that's what our star has always been about: style for every generation, a place where we'll always know your name — and every woman shining bright.
